Rufus has some new friends and they asked us to post their picture so you could see this beautiful Canadian lynx.  This is Lenny and his lynx Sasha who is about 8 years old.

Rufus has been missing from action almost all summer and that's because his family goes to the lake on the weekends and leaves him at home all by his lonesome - poor baby.  His good friend Robyn comes and feeds him and plays with him when he's alone, and it's been such a hot summer in Utah he's spent most of his days napping and his nights prowling.  His favorite thing this summer has been playing in his Costco boxes, and it finally cooled off enough last weekend for him to have a good romp with his best friend and yellow labrador, Mattie.  We've missed all our cat blogging friends and are glad to see you're all out there - we, too, hope Clare and Kiri are OK and thanks to Miss Ellie at http://misselliespage.blogspot.com/2006/09/weekend-cat-blogging-65.html for hosting this week.
